Lauren Pozna is an associate at SmithMarco, P.C., and she focuses her practice on prosecuting claims under various consumer protection statutes, such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Fair Credit Reporting Act. She began her legal career drafting legislation and managing government programs for the City of Toledo and went on to work at the Toledo Prosecutor’s Office, where she gained valuable trial and appellate experience. In 2018, Lauren was inducted into the National Order of Barristers for her trial advocacy skills. In addition, Lauren worked as a legal researcher for a multi-national corporation. Lauren received her Master’s in Business Administration and Juris Doctorate Degree at the University of Toledo in Ohio and she is licensed to practice in Florida.
