Many of us face uncertainty in our lives as a result of the coronavirus. Layoffs and furloughs leave many without the ability to pay creditors and feed the family at the same time. While some states have halted collection efforts and garnishments, this doesn’t mean that they will not be allowed at some point in the near future.
