Colorado Lemon Law

Colorado has its own lemon law, and understanding it is not so complicated.  In Colorado, a vehicle is deemed a lemon if it requires 4 attempts to repair the same defect within the warranty period or one year from the date of deliver of the vehicle, whichever occurs first.

When you purchase a vehicle you think may be a lemon, it is important to bring the vehicle in to a manufacturer authorized repair facility promptly.  Be sure to give a good explanation for what you are experiencing with your vehicle.  Provide them every opportunity to correct the issues.  If after 4 attempts you are still experiencing the same problems, your vehicle is a lemon.
